ICPC ON THE TRAIL OF FORMER LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN IN ENUGU :SEIZES THE TRAVELING DOCUMENT OF BAR AMECHI NWODO

Following the mass corruption and looting by the last local government chairmen in Enugu State that ran out of tenure on the 4th of January 2016,the nation's anti corruption institution(ICPC) is on the trail of most of the chairmen.
It should be noted that weeks before the expiration of their tenure, the Mr Nwodo of Udenu local government took his family to Atlanta USA planning to abscond after his tenure of office while still working toward second tenure. Few days after that, he was arrested and taken to Abuja for a debt he could not offset, immediately  he was released the workers of Udenu that were being owed upto 7 months salaries demonstrated by carrying coffin round the Obollo Afor market. This was immediately followed up by what can be termed a reprisal attack as thugs came to the local government to attack workers, inflicting harms of various degrees. On the arrest of the thugs, they confessed that it was the former local government Chairman that sent them.
While the former chairman is perfecting ways to run away from the arm of law, the ICPC are seriously sniffing to get him  and others to give account of their stewardship.
