His name is Casmir. A very humble boy from my village somewhere in Enugu state.
Casmir missed his JAMB exam and decided to enlist into the army to avoid roaming the streets of the village.
Soon after, precisely 3 years after (a year now) news filtered into the village that the young soldier has been killed. The lousy ugly story was that he was hugged by a suicide boomber at a certain checkpoint in North Eastern Nigeria where his platoon was deployed fighting Boko Haram.
Even his corpse was not brought home except a pair of boot and some biggle sounding. Casmir is forever gone!
But a recent revelation informs us that while Casmir was fighting and defending his fatherland, his boss them were busy sharing money ment for ammunition in support of the war.
While Casmir and his gallant colleagues were thrown into the arid environment, his boss them were engarged in lavishly spree celebrating 'Nigeria'.
Now we know how our brother died. Now we know who the real killers of our brother are. Now we know what it is like serving Nigeria passionately.
But in the words of Northern leaders to take Gen Ihejirika to International Criminal Court for irregularities in the war against BH;
Take Ihejirika to ICC...
And take Dasuki to HELL!
(but rule of law...)
