Checkout the clubs signed by golden eaglets Osimhen and Kelechi Nwakali


The record-breaking Golden Eaglets striker, Victor Osimhen, has reportedly signed for English Premier League club, Tottenham Hotspurs.
Metro.co.uk  that Mauricio Pochettino’s side have been placing tabs on the goal poacher and have completed a deal with the 16-year-old striker.

Osimhen netted 10 times in 7 games at the just concluded FIFA U17 World Cup in Chile which also made him the all-time leading scorer at the age group competition.
His compatriot, kelechi Nwakali who captained the Nigerian side at Chile, having been voted as the player of the tournament is reportedly on his way to join Kelechi Iheanacho’s Manchester City. 
Meanwhile, the former national U17 coach, John Obuh, has  the golden Eaglets not to rush to foreign clubs saying they are still minors.
In a telephone chat with Naij.com Sports, Obuh who managed the Nigerian U20 team between 2010 and 2013 revealed that the boys should return to the local league to enable them mature and then graduate to the U20 level.
He said: “The boys have really tried and they surpassed expectations. I just hope they will not rush to foreign clubs. They should learn from their predecessors.
“Infact they should return to the local league, where they will graduate to the Under020 category; by then, they would have been matured.”
