True life story:Do you know that 4 of every Lagos/Abuja plate number is fake?

I believe our problems are in the institutions of this country. I don't want to mention that of Police now its for another day. It was on the 14th day of March that I drove into one of the police station to obtain the new tinted glass permit, in the process, it was discovered that the plate number of my car is being used by another car. My first question is "How is it possible?" Because I obtained this number from FRSC with all documents intact. I never knew the car was going to stay for 12 days in the station.
A file was quickly opened and the car became an exhibit. Thank God the car was registered by a very high ranking officer of the FRSC who was brought to the station. As the investigation was going on, it was discovered that some people were producing these fake and duplicate number plates and giving out to innocent and un suspicious Nigerians, ripping them off their hard-earned money.
My question is, should we now go and buy these numbers at a shop in Alaba or at idumota instead of the federal government-approved agencies? In the course of my research, I stumbled upon the number plate verification system online. I started verifying cars of friends, church members and even cars that I see on the road. A shocking revelation was made that OUT OF EVERY 10 CARS you see on the road with LAGOS and ABUJA number plates, at least 4 is FAKE.
You can check your own now.
(1) Go to www.nvisng.org/numberplateverification.aspx
(2) Enter your number in the space provided. Eg "ABC863AP
(3) Click on verify button. Then an information will be displayed below the  button. Because FRSC did not want the general public to see the full details of the registration, you will only see the name of your car and the date of registration.
Here are some samples:
1. This number plate has been produced by FRSC and assigned to Toyota highlander on 20/01/2015. If your car is Toyota highlander, then you are lucky its done. But if your car is for instance Toyota Camry and your verification shows the above message,  then you are in as me. Solution is to go and re-register your car afresh.
2. This number plate has been produced by FRSC and assigned to Matrix however  the vehicle is yet to be registered..... If your car is Matrix, then just go back to the person that registered your car and tell him/her to complete your registration.
3. This plate number has been produced by FRSC but yet to be assign   to any vehicle. It means that they just gave you a number plate that is not even registered in their system. Solution is to go to them to register your car and upload your information.
4. An invalid/wrong number plate. Do I need to explain this, NO.
Verify your car first and sort yourself out with the FRSC before you even proceed to police for tinted permit cos if police are the one to find out, then you know what follows. Many innocent Nigerian are suffering now because of impunity in our institutions
Note: this verification is only applicable to the number plates with this formats ABC123AB not AB123 ABC.

Let us spread this news until everyone is aware of this evil FRSC is perpetrating. You are free to share fast-fast please!!!!!

Tension In Enugu Community As Suspected Fake Soldiers Arrest 76 Locals Over Clash With Herdsmen

Palpable fear and tension have enveloped residents of Ugwuneshi Autonomous community in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State, following the arrest by “men in military uniform,” of 76 locals over a clash between the natives and Fulani herdsmen.

Awgu is a border community with Lokpanta in Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia State where a cattle market is located.

Speaking with The AUTHORITY on Saturday, the traditional ruler of the community, His Royal Highness Igwe Godwin Nwobi, said the incident took place on Thursday last week.

He said that Fulani herdsmen who settled in the community without any permission had been using their cattle to destroy their crops and farmlands over the years.

The royal father said that pleas and warnings from the farmers to the herdsmen fell on deaf ears as their cattle continued to graze on the community’s farmlands with impunity.

He said that following the continued destruction of their crops which serve as their only means of livelihood, the youths in the community out of provocation, decided to protest the impunity of the herdsmen.

According to him, the villagers after the protest got a piece of information that two women who went to farm had been abducted by the herdsmen apparently in retaliation.

“When we got such information, the youths and men were gathering in our village square to discuss the matter and plan for a rescue mission when suddenly they were surrounded by men in military uniform who arrested 76 of them and carried them away in trucks”, he said.

He appealed for the intervention of Enugu State Government to secure the release of the arrested villagers whom he said had remained in prison custody in Umuahia.

The monarch wondered why his subjects would be crammed into detention for simply protesting the destruction of their crops and farmland while those responsible for the destruction are allowed to operate freely.

“It is wrong for our people who fled the North because of Boko Haram to be treated as slaves in their own land. We don’t want to be destroyed by herdsmen like they did in Agatu, Benue State. Government should please come to our rescue.

“We appeal to our Governor and other South East Governors to save Igbo land from herdsmen invasion before it is too late”, he agonised.

But when contacted, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the 14 Brigade Ohafia, Major Sydney Mbaneme, said the “men in military uniform” were not soldiers.

He said they might be fake solders and civilians who camouflaged themselves, adding that “if at all they are soldiers, they are not our soldiers”.

The Army spokesperson explained that if the said soldiers were real soldiers, the attention of the command would have been drawn to it, adding that “when such arrest is made, the first thing is to carry out preliminary investigation and inform their various units.”

When also contacted, the zonal Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in charge of Zone 9, DSP Emma Jiakponna, said he was not aware of the incident.

But a source in the Abia State Judiciary confirmed to our correspondent that the arrested villagers are currently detained at Afara prison Umuahia.

The source said the men were grouped into three and arraigned in the court but were refused bail.

However, the source did not give details of the charges preferred against the villagers nor confirm whether it was the police, soldiers or ‘fake soldiers’ that brought them to court.

Meanwhile, Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has said he could not help the situation, tasking journalists to help expose the injustice in the country.

The Governor who spoke through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Uwakwe Abugu told our correspondent on the phone that “it does not require the attention of the state government before something is done”.

He simply referred our correspondent to the Army PRO for further inquiries.

Meanwhile, the youth wing of the apex Igbo socio – cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo has strongly condemned the arrest and continued detention of the villagers, describing it as “an insult to the Igbo nation”.

The Coordinator of the seven State Chairmen of Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC), Mazi Alex Okemiri, said it was wrong for security agents to bundle unarmed local farmers into prison for merely protesting the destruction of their crops by cattle.

He called for the immediate release of the villagers, warning that if no urgent measures were taken to resolve the menace of Fulani herdsmen which has assumed a worrisome dimension, Nigerians might be in for “something worse than Boko Haram.”

IFESINACHI: Rescue our daughter, father begs Buhari, Ugwuanyi

· Abduction, conversion, Northern agenda to Islamize Nigeria - CSOs

Step father to Ifesinachi Ani, the abducted 14-year old SS 2 student of Government Secondary School, Apo Resettlement, Abuja, Mr. Sunday Ani, at the weekend appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State to rescue their daughter.

Ifesinachi was kidnapped six months ago by a syndicate said to be working for a controversial Emir in the North West zone. She has since been converted to Islam and may have been married off.

The linkman to the abductors simply known as Baba Abdul is in Police net, but we are not yet aware of the extent of success recorded in the search for the missing school girl.

Speaking to The AUTHORITY on Sunday at his home in Umunnaji Ngene village in Amechi Awkunanaw, Enugu South Local Government Area of Enugu State, Mr. Ani stated that Buhari and Ugwuanyi should not allow his daughter to be abducted and converted to Islam, because the family never give consent to such and the entire thing was like a Gestapo mafia affair.

Mr Sunday Ani further pleaded with the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Solomon Arase, to task his men to rescue her abducted child.

“We hear that her captors are very powerful and that they are boasting that nothing will happen. That is why we are appealing to Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to break his silence over this matter and come to our rescue. President Muhammadu Buhari as the father of the nation should not sleep over this issue.

“When they were asking us for votes, they promised to take care of us. The abduction of this girl is a serious matter and we expect out Governor to champion this cause because he has the capacity to talk to his colleagues in government and they will do something and rescue this girl whose abduction is reported to have been sponsored by an Emir in the North West zone of the country. Let the government help us recover this girl the way they handled that of Ese Oruru who was abducted in Bayelsa State,” he pleaded.

Already, the entire Amechi Awkunanaw town is tensed-up following reports of the abduction and conversion of the teenager to Islam. Most of the youths in the community are boiling over and are contemplating moving over to the north in search of their abducted sibling if government continues to treat the issue with lethargy.

However, the immediate-past Councillor of the ward, Hon Chinwuba Nnaji has been placating the youths along with some elders in the community. They are calming already frayed and charged nerves, promising them that government and security agencies are on top of the situation and would definitely rescue the girl.

Mr. Ani informed our reporters that Ifesinachi is the second child out of four children of her mother, stressing that what happened to her was strange to them especially as Ifesinachi and the other three children were well nurtured to be responsible people in the noble tradition of Umunnaji Ngene village and Amechi Awkunanaw in general.

He explained that although Ifesinachi’s mother called to inform him of the abduction of the girl, he has been in shock over the development, adding that since he has nobody to run to for assistance, the members of the family have resorted to prayers, especially when he learnt that the Police at the Apo Resettlement, had swept the report of the abduction under the carpet since six months ago when Mrs. Ani reported the matter.

He however extolled the Management and staff of The AUTHORITY Newspapers for their consistency and obvious determination to assist the family get government to do what they should do to rescue the girl, stressing that such act of championing the cause of the less privileged and voiceless will not go unrewarded by the almighty God.

*CSOs react

Meanwhile, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and political analysts yesterday rose against the kidnappings of young Christian girls and converting them to Islam, concluding that it was part of a greater plot to Islamise Nigeria by the Hausa/Fulani oligarchy.

They condemned spates of abduction and conversion, stressing that what was happening in the country, were “against natural justice, equity, good conscience, rule of law, right to religion and choice of association and against all known tenets in the constitution and fundamental human rights”.

According to a political commentator, Mr. Larry Onwuta, the series of abductions and conversion of young Christian girls are well orchestrated agenda to multiply and take over Christians by force into Islam and described the trend as terrible.

Onwuta said: “This is an agenda of the North in this political dispensation. For long, we have been fighting against Islamisation of Nigeria but unfortunately, most people in this part of the world have refused to understand the reality on ground.

“Now, the Islamisation agenda method against Ndigbo have taken very broad and different dimensions following the new strategy embarked upon by the Islamic conversion which are focused on kidnapping of our young girls and youths, converting them to Islam, which amounts to total violation of their fundamental rights, negligence of their fundamental rights, religion, speech and natural justice. All Christians should rise up and fight against Islamization of Nigeria’’.

For the founder of Integrated Anti-Human Trafficking and Community Development (INTACOM) Africa, Hope Okoye, religion should not be foisted on anybody, especially the minor.

Okoye blamed it on President Buhari, saying he should call his people to order as the people doing all these are all from the North and they all belong to the same religion.

The INTACOM Africa’s boss said: “If President Buhari is really interested in the progress and development of the country, he should call his religious group and Northerners. He should speak up now against this evil and senseless abduction of Christians and minors for that matter in the name of conversion and reward for conversion.

“He should condemn it in its entirety and take practical steps to stop it. He should say something and warn his people against doing all these. He should mobilise everything he has against these people constituting nuisance to Islam as a religion.

“All Islamic scholars and leaders should condemn this act as it is despicable. In religion, you don’t foist it on anybody. It is an abuse of rights to religion, and you can’t force it on anybody. The constitution is against it, human rights is against it and it’s against natural justice. God is against that, hence it is a matter of choice; it should not be against one’s will.”

For the Campaign for Democracy (CD), Southeast zone, rising from its meeting in Onitsha yesterday, they noted that President Buhari’s silence over the issue shows absolute betrayal to the constitution and the fundamental rights of its citizens, which he swore to defend and uphold.

Chairman of CD, Southeast zone, Dede Uzor. A. Uzor, in a statement said Buhari should ensure such practices are immediately stopped in the spirit of one Nigeria.

Dede Uzor said: “This is a total case of abduction and kidnapping and it is against natural justice. Such practices should be proscribed; it’s an insult for underage, innocent children. This is against freedom of religion; against common justice; against natural justice. They hide under the cloak of religion or one Emir to abuse innocent girls by abduction and kidnapping not on consent. Marriage is by consent and not by force and once force is involved, it is a clear case of rape.”

The CLO demanded the immediate arrest and prosecution of all the people involved in the abduction of Ifesinachi Ani, adding that there could be several other Ifesinachi’s out there, but who are not yet exposed.

On his part, Anambra State Chairman of CLO, Comrade Aloysius Attah, said the constitution is clear on how to handle such issues and wondered why freedom of religious worship and association were being abused especially on innocent children.

“Abducting people and converting them to Islam is against the constitution and the law must take its due course. Muslim leaders are not untouchables and the law should be applied to them and this illegality must stop if this country must move forward,” the CLO boss stressed.

‘Buratai confessed that soldiers killed Biafrans while praying’ – IPOB

Following the Chief Army Staff, Lt.-General Tukur Buratai’s disclosure that the army has set up a committee to investigate the alleged killing of pro-Biafra protesters in Aba, Abia state, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), on Friday, rejected the committee.

IPOB said the committee is “is fundamentally riddled with conflict of interest and lacks the moral compass to conduct quality investigation in a case of this magnitude.”

This was contained in a statement signed by the spokespersons of IPOB, Emma Mmezu and Clifford Iroanya.

The secessionist group called for the setting up of an unbiased international team that will investigate the said killing.

The statement reads: “IPOB has noted that the Nigerian Chief of Army Staff and Borno State born Lt.-Gen. Tukur Yusuf Buratai, openly confessed and admitted that soldiers of the Nigerian Army opened fire and killed defenceless Biafrans who were conducting prayer sessions inside the football field of Ngwa High Schoool, Aba in Abia State.”

“This genocidal action of the Nigerian Army happened on February 9, 2016. According to newspaper reports, Lt. Gen. Buratai argued that his “soldiers could not have opened fire on the activists without provocation.” The Army Chief further stated that “We have our rules of engagement, the troops cannot just open fire.”

“While dismissing the constitutionally-backed respect for human rights and sanctity of human lives as guaranteed in section-33 of the 1999 Constitution, Lt.-Gen. Buratai boasted that in situations that entail the use of fire, the protection of human rights does not apply.”

“In his display of crass ignorance of the constitution and the laws of Nigeria, the Army Chief surmised that the 1999 Constitution, and the Armed Forces Act, all provided for the use of force when necessary.”

“But we could not locate in any of the 320 sections and seven schedules of the 1999 Constitution, which section that supported the dastardly acts of his soldiers. Neither did we find in any of the 292 sections and four schedules of the Armed Forces Act, CAP – A20 LFN 2004, where it stipulated the shooting of unarmed, peaceful civilians in peacetime within the Federation of Nigeria.”

“In addition, the civilized world will be interested to know what the Nigerian Army’s Rules of Engagement (ROE) are when confronted with Christians praying in a secluded ground. In his conclusion, Lt.-Gen. Buratai assured that “we are already investigating it. When such incidents involve the loss of lives we usually conduct an investigation – that is our procedure.”

“From every word in the confessions of Lt.-Gen. Buratai, it is now indisputable that unarmed Biafrans were mowed down by the Nigerian soldiers. The IPOB do hereby demand the convocation of an impartial investigative team and not the group hurriedly set up by the Army Chief considering that the Army is the aggressor in this case.”

“We further assert that the only credible entity which can carry out in-depth investigation is the International Criminal Court, ICC, in The Hague. The so-called investigating team arranged by the COAS is fundamentally riddled with conflict of interest and lacks the moral compass to conduct quality investigation in a case of this magnitude.”

“Therefore, the United Nations Human Rights Commission and other allied organizations should intervene and work with the ICC to conduct a thorough investigation now that the Nigerian Army through Lt.-Gen. Buratai have confessed that they actually shot and killed unarmed Biafrans at Aba on the 9th of February 2016.”

DSS invasion: Detained Ekiti lawmaker is dead – Ekiti govt. cries out

dss
The alleged invasion of the State House of Assembly by men of the Department of State Services reached a feverish pitch on Thursday, as government of Ekiti State broke a sad news that a member of the State House of Assembly, Hon Afolabi Akanni has died in the custody of the security agency.
Akanni, representing Efon constituency , was arrested on March 4, when the DSS allegedly invaded the Assembly for undisclosed reason.
He was immediately whisked to Abuja where he had since been detained, in spite of the ruling of the Federal High Court, Ado Ekiti, delivered by Justice Taiwo Taiwo , ordering the DSS to either release him with immediate effect or produce him in court on Wednesday, March 16.
Those that addressed the conference include: The speaker of the Assembly, Hon Kola Oluwawole, Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Ajayi Owoseeni, Special Assistant on Communications to the governor, Lere Olayinka and Akanni’s lawyer, Barr Obafemi Adewale.
Ogunsuyi said: “We call on the DSS to immediately clarify the
situation as to the status( dead or alive) of Hon Akanni by producing him physically for all Nigerians to see, particularly to his immediate family.
“While we await the DSS to come up with its clarification, we urge every resident of Ekiti State, particularly the people of his immediate constituency in Efon to remain calm.”
The government added that what fueled their suspicion has been the way the lawmaker has been held incommunicado, without access to family, lawyers, doctors and political associates since he was detained.
“Information at our disposal revealed that the lawmaker developed a strange ailment at midnight and died this morning. This is a shocking news to us and we are seriously grieved.”
Ogunsuyi said the government will take appropriate steps as soon as their claim is confirmed by DSS.

2 Million Nigerians Set to Lose Jobs...See Shocking Development

Inflation is set to be fast crippling the Nigerian economy thereby calling for a quick intervention by the Nigerian government.

No fewer than two million youths may lose their jobs due to the closure of some Sachet water producing factories in Kano Alhaji Muktar Tata, the Secretary-General of the state chapter of Association of Sachet Water Producers of Nigeria, made the disclosure while speaking with newsmen in Kano on Wednesday.

Tata said many producers were compelled to fold up due to the increase in price of polythene used for packaging the commodity. He said prices of the material which sold for N480,000 per tonne in January had now increased to N1.1 million.

“The situation has forced the closure of about 60 per cent of the `pure water’ producing factories in the state. “About two million youths working in the industry might lose their jobs and the state may face scarcity of drinking water if the situation is not addressed,”
 he said.

The scribe said the situation had compelled the association to increase the price of `pure water’ from N5 to N10 per sachet, and N100 per bag of 20 sachets as against N60 before. “The sachet water vendors have agreed to ‎sell a sachet at N10 and N15 for two sachets,” Tata said.

He said the association would ensure that the commodity was produced under good hygienic condition, and that the association had set up committees to ensure compliance.

For MEN Only How to get her to send you nude pictures

Men love to have some visuals when chatting with women they are interested in. It is even more important if you and the lady are sexting, but women are wary of sending nude pictures.

Knowing what to say and how to say it is very important if you want her to take that big risk and show you what you want to see.

Try at night

If you are hoping to get a nude from her, make sure you make that request at night. Preferably the middle of the night if possible. Women are more likely to get a bit risque when it's dark and quiet. There is something sensual about the night that puts them in a sexual mood. Also, this makes it likely that she is in bed, and you are not requesting when she is busy with something else.

Get sexual

Some men make the mistake of requesting for nudes before talking dirty or having phone sex with her. She is unlikely to oblige you is she does not feel some kind of sexual connection with you. Start the naughty talk, have phone sex, then ask her to send you photos because you are so turned on by her and desperately need to see her.

Compliment her

Some women do not send nudes because they are insecure about their bodies and do not want guys to think they are unattaractive. So make sure you complement her days before you ask for her naked picture. Let her know how hot you find her if she sends pictures with her clothes on. Compliment on her figure and be sincere when you do it. Make her feel like a total goddess so she feels a lot more comfortable taking it off for you.

Baby steps

If you are expecting a more naughty photo and she maybe sends you something you do not consider as sexual enough, a cleavage for instance, do not sulk about it. She needs to take her time to get to a point of sending totally nude pictures. Appreciate what she sends and let her know you are turned on by this. Each time she takes it even a little further, act like that is thesexiest thing you have ever seen. It's only a matter of time before she shows it all to you.

Photo :Nsukka Herbalist Marries 18yrs Old Chidinma As 57th Wife In Enugu

Wonders indeed shall end! Meet the 69 year old herbalist, Chief Simon Odo, who married an 18 year old girl, Chidinma, as his 57th wife last November and now says he won’t marry again.
 PHOTO1
Chidinma was married from Okutu, in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State.
Chief Odo, also known variously as Onuwa, King Solomon of Africa or King of Satan was married to 68 women but some of them had earlier died.
Augustina Odo (nee Asogwa) and Virginia, nee Mogbo from Oraifite were among the dead ones.
Odo spoke in an interview with the South East Voice at his palatial home at Aji, Enugu Ezike in Igboeze North Local Government Area of Enugu State.
Onuwa who was armed with an Onward note book where names of his wives and over 200 children
were listed according to their dates of birth said that his first son, Emeka was born on December 15, 1969.
“I was born in 1947 on the day they had an eclipse of the sun and the moon. There was darkness in the afternoon on the day I was born. I was the only son of my parents.
“I was baptised as a Christian in the Catholic Church and I even became a mass servant under Rev Father Desmond McGlade.
“I however became a herbalist because of circumstances beyond my control. As I said, I was the only son of my parents but because some of his relations wanted to take over his landed property, they poisoned me. I contracted tuberculosis and had to be treated for years.
“At a point, I was even unable to walk for about five years because I became lame. I ran to Ondo State in the South West, where I trained to become a herbalist at the age of 15, before returning to the village.
“I married 15 wives when my father was alive and the situation prolonged his life. He died in 1992 at the ripe old age of over 90 years. My first son has seven children and four grandchildren. Any of my children who chooses to become a Christian is free to do so, provided he/she must become a Catholic. I don’t like the Pentecostal churches.”

On feeding of his large family, Onuwa said:
“People think that I feed many of them but this is not true. Most of my children are grown up. The boys among them usually marry and go to their own houses just like the girls who marry and follow their husbands to their places.
However, my wives cook food for the whole family in turns. For example, if it is the turn of Ada or Omada to cook, she would invite five of her colleagues to assist her in cooking. One woman cooks for everybody in the house at a time but my other wives would always assist such a person.”
Asked if any of his sons has taken after him as a herbalist, he said, “I will not encourage them to do so. I don’t want my sons to take after me because some of them will do bad things with my medicine. As a herbalist, I have never killed anybody or thought of evil against anybody but I do not trust that my children would be upright like me. That is why I will not encourage them to inherit my medicine but I may bequeath them to some of my younger children, not the old, greedy ones.”
Meanwhile, it was learnt that although Onuwa abhorred seeing his children attend churches other than the Catholic church, seven of them were ordained pastors at the Lord’s Chosen Church. Hitherto, some of them attended Catholic and Anglican churches while many of them took after their father in his business.
However, the ordination of the pastors brought about a radical Christian awakening in the extra-large family of Chief Odo. In the past four years, there had been a simmering misunderstanding between the pastors and their father regarding his herbal practice. The pastors were said to be mounting heavy pressure on him to repent and turn to Jesus, a demand the herbalist spurned.
Vanguard reports that Odo, said to have lost one of his wives last February, had arranged for the burial, which his pastor’s sons rejected and rather organized a prayer programme for her burial, triggering confusion in the family.
